The university’s Sport Centre provides the university community with the opportunity to train and practice a variety of sporting activities, regardless of whether they are beginners or top-level athletes.
Over 5,500 participants, including 1,520 members of the French University Sports Federation (FFSU);
more than 100 trainers, instructors and temporary staff;
over 40 activities to choose from;
12 specialised Physical Education and Sports teachers;
47% of participants are female, all sports included.
The Sport Centre is also responsible for ensuring that the university’s sports policy is properly implemented.
Different ways of practising sports:
personal training with initiation, improvement and competition in 48 sports and physical activities. These activities are open to all Université Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier (UT3) students and staff members;
validating training courses, which are integrated into the following university courses: Health, L3 and Master’s degree in Sciences at the University Institute of Technology (IUT);
skills training courses resulting in coaching qualifications in partnership with various federations;
involvement in associations and volunteering (FFSU competitions, outdoor activities, various training courses, etc.) through the Sports Association.
Specific courses for:
Top-level athletes, to enable them to pursue their two-fold objective of academic and sporting success.
Students with disabilities.
